Initial discussions between services identified the lack of an overarching framework from which to ensure opportunities for effective communication and integrated working. The diagram demonstrates the many elements involved in Middlesbrough’s approach to school readiness and the wider influences that will impact on a child being ready for school. The development of the shared pathway provides the overarching framework that underpins the school readiness model.
