Background
With a Head Office in Stockton-on-Tees, CD Engineering are one of the leading Electrical Contractors in the UK. Having gained a number of large-scale clients, the ambitious company had outgrown their previous brand.
Working with MMD a clear strategy was developed which included a fresh brand identity and a new website which would significantly boost their online presence.
The website needed to showcase everything about the business in one place. This included profiling large-scale projects they have been involved in across the UK. The sectors CDE work in also needed to be prominent throughout as the site as they wanted to promote their excellent reputation in specific markets.
As a company who invest a vast amount in Corporate Social Responsibility, the majority of news stories featured on the site were to reflect their involvement in the local community. Whether this be sponsoring a sports team or raising money for charities, all would be promoted on the website. A careers section would be used to promote opportunities to work with the business.
The website build took six weeks from start to finish and is part of an ongoing branding exercise with CDE which includes an office relocation in summer 2018.
