Background
In March 2019 we designed and built the new website for Irish business Jack & Eddie’s. Jack and Eddie’s produce award-winning sausages, bacon & puddings from their fifth-generation family farm near Westport, Co. Mayo.
They had outgrown their previous website, with the site not responsive to mobile devices. Analytic data had shown that over 60% of website traffic was on mobile phones so the business knew this had to change.
The fully responsive website is full of great content, with a fantastic selection of family recipes available to view online. The website is fully scalable, and has the option of including e-commerce functionality in the future.
With their products sold in stores across Ireland, we have also developed an interactive search facility where the user can find their nearest stockist. This feature helps shows the growth of the business which has established as one of the leading brands of sausages in Ireland.
The new Jack & Eddie's website is the latest in a number of projects MMD are carrying out with Irish businesses.
