To celebrate our tenth anniversary, M Media & Design (mm&d) put on a unique treasure hunt in Hartlepool. The prize for winning the competition was £500 with another £500 donated to local Charity the Hartlepool & District Hospice.

Starting on Monday 16th November, we posted a series of video clues leading to the secret destination. It was local student Jordan Thornhill who put his detective skills to the test and managed to find the prize which was hidden in Ward Jackson Park.

Jordan, studying for a Masters in Public Relations at Teesside University took an early interest in the campaign.

I followed the campaign from the first day, trying to piece together the clues. I had a feeling the prize was in the Park and with the help of my uncle we spent a few hours trying to find the envelope.

It’s a great time to win money with Christmas coming up!”

Greg Hildreth, Corporate Events & Social Media Manager at the Hartlepool & District Hospice was thankful for the support provided by mm&d:

This is a very generous way for mm&d to celebrate their 10th anniversary and we are absolutely delighted with such a kind donation, which will now be used to fund the care services we provide free of charge to our patients and their families. I’d like to say a huge thank you on behalf of everyone here at the Hospice.”

Mark Skirving, Director at mm&d was delighted with how the campaign spread across the town:

We are pleased with how the campaign went- there has been lots of interaction on social media with over 20,000 people viewing the campaign and it really captured the imagination of the local community. We thought it would be a great way to celebrate our tenth anniversary with the town.”

Based at The Innovation Centre, mm&d have a diverse range of clients, coming from many different sectors. Specialising in website and graphic design, the agency have clients from all corners of the globe.

Whilst we are enjoy working with clients in exotic locations, we are particularly proud of the companies we work with on our doorstep. We take great satisfaction in helping them grow.”
